Lynchburg, VA, is known as the "Hill City" aka "The City of 7 Hills". Cat's E.Y.E Inc. recording artist Starr Nyce, was raised in Diamond Hill; during a time that exposed him and his close friends to the impact and influence of drugs and gun violence.

Although these elements have managed to negatively affect countless people from this area and abound, through music, Starr Nyce was fortunate enough to dodge a path that ultimately leads to death or jail.

Diamond Hill Baptist Church, a historic place of worship located in the heart of the neighborhood was, and remains a staple of the community. Starr Nyce attributes his upbringing, the church and mostly, his attraction to creating music as the deterrents that kept him from getting wrapped up in street life. The Diamond Hill brand is a celebration of overcoming the pitfalls put in place to destroy us, in every hood.
